PEEK and Macor Connectors - Subminiature-C (Sub-C)
AGP Subminiature-C UHV connectors are available with either PEEK (a polyether ether ketone polymer) or Macor® machinable glass-ceramic materials. Male and female connector genders are available for those customers wishing to build their own custom cable assemblies. Please note that male or female contacts are not included with these connectors and must be purchased separately. Female connectors will mate directly to the vacuum or airside of AGP male Subminiature-C UHV or HV feedthroughs.
Important: Cable leads must be threaded through connector back-piece before crimping contacts, as these will not fit through the back-piece holes once they're crimped to wires.
AGP standard contacts are available for 26~30 or 20~24 AWG wire sizes. All contacts are made of a gold-plated copper alloy and are designed for use with both PEEK or Macor® ceramic Subminiature-C (Sub-C) and Subminiature-D connectors.
AGP High Duty Cycle Contacts are "standard contacts" that have been reinforced with a stainless-steel sleeve, which extends the typical contact's spring life. They're used in place of our standard contacts for applications requiring frequent and/or extensive plug/unplug cycles (3 or more cycles per day). Crimping tools, wire strippers, and other wiring accessories are also available for purchase here.

Notes |
- Electrical ratings are maximum test values, with feedthrough's vacuum side at ≤ 1x10-4 Torr. Feedthroughs are intended for instrumentation applications carrying low level signal voltage and current.
- For proper heat dissipation, a maximum of 20% of the pins on a feedthrough may carry the maximum pin current at any given time.
- PEEK is a polyether ether ketone thermoplastic.
- Leak tested to 5x10-10 Standard cc/sec of He.
- Overall assembly ratings must be adjusted to that of its lowest rated component. For cryogenic service, the lowest recommended temperature is -200°C
- Connectors and contacts must be purchased separately.
